We took some advice as regards the best way forwards for Geri - chief amongst this was that Geri needs the support of a karting team as we are not capable of doing this ourselves. Secondly was that Geri's engine is an unknown quantity, and while we think it is down on power compared to many others, we do not know this for certain.
To that end, we engaged Richard at UFO to investigate further. Due to time scales agreed with Richard up front, this meant that Geri would not be able to race at this round.
Early news is somewhat as expected, the engine could be doing better, the exhaust has not been de-baffled, and we have asked Richard to carry out a top-end rebuild as he feels appropriate. We expect Geri to be out in time for the August round by which time we hope to have some news regarding support.
